Charity Commission - The Economic Downturn a Charity Checklist
The Charity Commission has developed a 15 question checklist to assist trustees and their advisers identify the impact of the recession on charities and to identify how well placed their charity is to weather the economic turmoil. Covering 4 areas: strategy, financial health, governance and making best use of resources, is in an easy to read and concise format. Is a membership organisation set up in 1987 and specialises in helping charities to manage their accounting, taxation, audit and other finance related functions.

is the national charity for trustees providing opportunities for trustees to share knowledge and experience with each other, enabling trustees to search for a vacancy or to post their own using trusteefinder, signposting to information and services and giving trustees a voice to influence national policy
